Kleri acquires Biztek

Biztek was established in Orkanger in 2019 and has grown in just a few years to become a significant IT provider in Trøndelag. The company had a turnover of 63.6 million NOK in 2025, following several years of approximately 40 percent annual growth. This strong development has continued into 2026, with revenue growth of over 50 percent measured over the last twelve months.

Now, the company is becoming part of Kleri, which in recent years has grown from 170 million NOK to nearly two billion NOK in revenue across Norway and Sweden.

"Biztek is exactly the type of company we want to bring on board. They have built a strong professional environment, have impressive growth, and, not least, a very good position in a market where we have ambitions to become much larger. Trøndelag is an important area for us, and with Biztek, we get a solid foundation for further growth in the region," says Michael Jacobs, CEO of Kleri.

Aiming for further growth in Trøndelag

Biztek is headquartered in Orkanger and has operations in Trondheim, Fosen, Stjørdal, and Kristiansund. The company has 33 employees and provides IT operations, cloud services, security, digital workplaces, and technology consulting to small and medium-sized businesses.

The customer portfolio includes over 400 businesses, including Norsk Kylling, Rosenborg Ballklub, and several key players in the Trøndelag business community.

For Kleri, the acquisition is about both strengthening their geographical presence and adding expertise and customers to the group in areas where demand is increasing.

"We have great faith in the combination of strong local professional environments and the capacity of a larger group. Customers want someone who knows their business, is accessible, and takes responsibility for ensuring the technology works. At the same time, needs within security, cloud, and AI are becoming increasingly complex. It is a great advantage to be able to combine local proximity with a broader professional environment," says Jacobs.

He emphasizes that the ambition is to further develop the business in Trøndelag.

"This is not about moving expertise or customer relationships away from the region. On the contrary, we want to build on what Biztek has created, invest in their expertise, and take an even stronger position in Central Norway."

Seeing new growth opportunities

For Biztek, the acquisition means access to a larger professional environment, more services, and the capacity to serve customers with increasingly complex technology needs.

"We have had a fantastic development since we started, and have built a company with talented people, good customer relationships, and a strong local foundation. At the same time, we see that customers are placing ever-increasing demands on expertise, security, and capacity. With Kleri behind us, we get entirely new opportunities to develop further," says Roger Aakerholm, CEO and founder of Biztek.

He believes the companies have a lot in common.

"We identify very strongly with the way Kleri thinks. It is about making technology simpler for customers, being close to them, and having people who understand both the technology and the businesses they work with. We gain access to far more expertise and more services, while at the same time being able to preserve what has made Biztek the company we are today."

Continuing the acquisition strategy

Kleri has grown significantly in recent years through a combination of organic growth and acquisitions. The group has operations throughout Norway and in Sweden, and has the ambition to continue strengthening its position in the Nordic IT market.

The acquisition of Biztek is part of this strategy.

"We are committed to finding companies that bring us more than just revenue. It’s about the people, the expertise, the culture, and the position they have built in the market. Biztek is a great fit for us, and we see significant opportunities to create further growth together," says Jacobs.

The parties have not disclosed the purchase price.
